Overview
ONEgametoken
ONEgametoken ("Gametoken") is a non-custodial marketplace for game tokens on ONE Chain. Each partner game issues its in-game currency as an on-chain token, and Gametoken brings these tokens together in one place where you can:
- Swap any game token for ONEUSD, instantly and on-chain.
- Provide liquidity to a token's pool and earn a share of trading fees.
- Track your holdings and full transaction history across every market.
How it works at a glance
| Layer | What it is |
|---|---|
| ONEUSD | The ecosystem's default settlement currency and the common asset that every game token trades against. Prices and volume are quoted in ONEUSD. |
| $ONE | The native coin of ONE Chain, used for network gas. |
| Game Tokens | On-chain tokens issued by partner games, representing their in-game currencies and assets. |
| Forge | The on-chain market engine that holds each game token's liquidity pool (paired with ONEUSD, using virtual reserves) and executes every swap. See ONE Forge. |
Gametoken is not an order book. Prices are set by Forge's on-chain liquidity pools, so there are no limit orders and no counterparty to wait for. Every swap settles immediately against a pool.
Non-custodial by design
All features operate on a non-custodial basis through on-chain smart contracts. Nexus never takes custody of your funds. Every swap and liquidity action runs only after you sign the transaction with your own wallet, and all activity is verifiable on the public block explorer.
Gas is on us. Network gas for swaps and liquidity actions is sponsored by the service, so you don't need to hold extra $ONE for gas. Token transfers (Send) are the one exception. See Fees & Gas.
